I have a 2007 W-22 Workhorse chassis with a 1000 series 6 speed transmission. Will your custom tuner work with the 6 speed transmission? Also, how long does it take to get the new tuner after I have sent in my old ECM? ( Kenneth Simpson, 04/14/2020 )
Yes this will work on your RV. Our typical turn around time is 2-3 business days right now.
I have a 2004 Damon on a W22 chassis e/w an 8.1 Vortec engine. I am looking to upgrade my performance on this RV, It has an Allison transmission also. Is the ECM and TCM upgrade that you offer a "plug and play" installation or do they have to be programmed upon installation? I will be sending my ECM and TCM cores, so how much do I send when I order your units?
( Steve Shirley, 03/31/2020 )
Yes it is plug and play. We program the ECM/TCM specifically to your VIN so that when you plug them in, there is no additional steps required. Some pickups and SUV's require a relearn procedure but the Workhorse and Kodiak medium duty trucks do not. You will need to place the order online and then send the ECM/TCM in with a copy of your order.
Can I purchase a UPWH 8.1 Custom Tuning ECM and pay the core but keep my original instead of returning it? ( James Ellerman, 09/18/2019 )
Yes, you can keep your original, not a problem, you just won't receive your core refund of course.
