Hello, I have an 04’ Winnebago Itasca Sunova on the P32 8.1 Workhorse chassis with an Allison trans. Will this work on my motorhome? I couldn’t find anything specific about the P series only the W series. Thanks! ( Josh, 09/18/2020 )
Your P32 does not have an Allison transmission, it is a GM 4L85-E transmission. This transmission is controlled by the engine computer so you would not require purchasing a separate tune for the transmission.
2002 Workhorse 8.1L & Allison. Are you able to remove the vehicle speed limiter? Thank You ( Harvey Fletcher, 09/17/2020 )
Yes, we can do that.
I have a couple of questions. I have larger tires on my truck and a cold air intake. Can you program the ecu for tire size and the CAI, and can you ship the ecu to CA? ( Steve Church, 08/12/2020 )
Yes we can do all those things. You just aren't supposed to use the ECU in California.
For a 2001 Chevrolet 2500HD with 8.1L and Allison, how does the tune and the removal of torque management affect the function of tow/haul mode? ( Jonathon Morton, 06/06/2020 )
Torque management remains intact in tow/haul mode. All other operations of tow/haul will remain the same unless otherwise specified.
If the hardware configuration is changed from complete stock to Banks torque tube, Banks ram air intake, ultra muffler at once, and always fill 91 octane premium gas (93 is not available in CA) instead of regular gas, can the customs tune be more aggressive than your 'normal" custom tune in order to take a full advantage of more in/out air flow and higher octane's wider detonation tolerance? My apologies in advance if my question is not point on. ( Diego O., 05/14/2020 )
Yes, we can advance timing a little bit more with the higher octane. Just put that in the notes and we will compensate for that.
